Perfect time to replace your conservatory roof

Make sure you choose a WARMroof.

Wednesday 11th May 2016

If you are looking to replace your conservatory there’s never been so much choice and that’s a good thing whether you prefer a light glazed extension or a traditional plastered finish to the inside of your additional living space we can help you create the perfect home extension. If you are looking for more of a ‘real room’ feel we can now offer the latest WARMroof technology which can quite literally transform a dated and cold conservatory into a new luxurious extension to the home by only replacing the old conservatory roof.

Our range of tiled roof use the latest WARMroof technology which is proven to be the best construction method for design and installation of tiled sunroom or tiled replacement conservatory roof extensions. Put simply these WARMroofs are fully insulated and have insulation above the roof rafters and at the eaves keeping the whole structure warm to eliminate any risk of condensation for the life of the extension. Other systems for conservatory roof replacements use ‘cold roof’ construction and are at an increased risk of suffering condensation. These roofs are based on older conservatory roof chasis and have insulation sat between the aluminium bars and underneath with no insulation on top, the eaves / gutter perimeter is also exposed which creates a cold spot or ‘thermal bridge’ which will ultimately lead to condensation and mould forming on the inside. So our advice is to do your research and always specify a WARMroof for a tiled conservatory replacement.

Our tiled WARMroof can also accommodate a number of tiling solutions including clay or even slate tiles and has also been designed to accommodate Velux rooflights, an important supply partner for Refurbish my Conservatory registered installers. For larger conservatories roof replacements we can also harness our structurally proven Retro-fix posts which are designed to blend seamlessly in all replacement projects and safely carry the additional weight of a solid roof, while a structural horizontal hardwood strut adds both strength and style for larger spans of tiled WARMroofs.

To the outside, the tiled WARMroof looks part of the fabric of the house, thanks to the vast array of tiling options, while on the inside homeowners can enjoy the light and airy nature of a vaulted ceiling, with the option of a pelmet for spotlights and hanging blinds.

There’s never been so much choice for modern living and by replacing your existing conservatory roof and even your windows and doors, you can add value to your property and in the way in which you live your life. Make your conservatory replacement project a WARMroof one!
