Modernising Conservatory Extensions

Beautiful Colours, Modern Lifelike Woodgrains

Tuesday 13th October 2015

The vast majority of the first generation conservatories were just plain white, yet the latest trends in replacement windows show that one in three are in fact of a non-white finish. In recent years replacement conservatories have followed that trend with more colour options and finishes than ever before. At Refurbish my Conservatory we have a range of colour options available in all our product ranges.

The modern foil laminated finishes have a very impressive finish, yet are robust having been tested in the extreme temperatures of mainland Europe. We can even offer a bespoke colour for your replacement conservatory using the very latest in paint technology.

For those seeking the period feel of timber we have a whitegrain finish, which looks just like painted wood, along with rosewood, golden oak and the latest Irish oak and Anteak (silvered oak) finishes available in both our conservatory and window ranges. Homeowners need not worry that these finishes won’t match the rest of the house as replacement windows, guttering and even soffit and fascia boards can be replaced with a matching colour to the conservatory or Garden Room. Alternatively for consumer wanting the real deal we have our composite range of windows, bi-folding doors and conservatories. Our composite range features the best of both worlds, real timber on the inside, which can be painted or stained to your own requirements, with the durability of aluminium outside available in any colour including the most popular anthracite grey finish.

Away from the realistic and lifelike woodgrains, we can also offer a number of colours including cream, Chartwell Green, grey, fir green, and black. While these colours may well look inspirational from the outside, consumers also have the choice of the same finish on the inside or even a neutral white finish. We’re also able to incorporate aluminium bi-folding doors in a matching or complimentary colour.

Our advice is to be bold, think of a replacement conservatory in an exciting new finish and look at other upgrade options too such as LivinRoom, which is an internal perimeter ceiling that can accommodate downlighters, along with Cornice, the striking gutter shroud that offers real architectural detailing.

Your local Refurbish My Conservatory Registered Installer can show you examples and product swatches of the colours available and can also give you practical advice based on your individual project, brick type etc. Next month we’ll also look at the latest Loggia product, designed to offer something that’s both stylish and highly energy efficient for your conservatory replacement project.
