Mr and Mrs Goodman approach one of our proven registered installers, Conserv-A-Tech with a complex conservatory replacement project.  The hardwood was rotting away on the inside of the existing conservatory, while the ageing aluminum roof and windows were fading to the exterior. The polycarbonate roofing materials had similarly deteriorated, as unsightly and highly inefficient, resulting in a cold room during the winter months.

Due to the width and relatively low pitch of the original installation, the frame heights were lower than standard and an unsightly internal tie bar fitted. The brief was to raise the heights of the windows and doors to a building standard of 2100mm and harness the latest solar control glass, perfect for any new conservatory replacement project. To accommodate this the upstairs bedroom and bathroom windows had to be reduced in width and bricked in to allow for the roof to be raised. It was a perfect project in which we, along with Conserv-A-Tech could complete, thanks to our experience of all things conservatory related.

The result is a stunning new glazed replacement conservatory with unobstructed views of the garden. Internal bi-folding doors were also installed, along with a new polished porcelain flooring to make for a truly all-year round room in which the relax, to Mr and Mrs Goodman’s delight.
